JAI CV-M8 CL

JAI CV-M8

The JAI CV-M8 is a digital colour progressive scan 2 Megapixel camera using a 1" 1600x1200 CCD. It features frame delay readout and single or dual video output of either 10 bit, or 2x10 bit. The dual readout feature allows two sections of an image to be held in memory seperately and then manipulated prior to being reconstructed on the display. All functions are controlled via RS232C (TXD and RXD) or CameraLink (TXD or RXR). The CV-M8 offers data rates of up to 30.12 fps in dual mode and benefits from square pixels - 7.4 x7.4um.

Dual Readout Mode for Faster Data Transfer

Dual readout mode allows data to be read from the sensor and transmitted twice as fast by using both CameraLink™ channels. The image is read from the middle of the sensor out toward the edges, resulting in improved image quality when it is re-combined.
