Camera Link is a high-speed data transmission protocol
based on the ChannelLink specification. Cameralink is available
in three different implementations: CameraLink Base, CameraLink
Medium and CameraLink Full. These lvels govern the different
transfer rates and support different camera configurations.
The fact that Camera Link is a serial interface rather than
the previously used parallel interface, means that costs are
greatly reduced. Successful transmission distances of up to
10 meters can be accomplished.
PC-CamLink
is an industrial PCI frame grabber that utilizes the Camera
Link digital camera interface. Combining a half-slot
PCI-bus framegrabber with high speed image transfer architecture
conforming to the Camera Link specification.

120MB/s
sustained bus master transfer to host, guarantees no missing
lines and low host CPU burden
PC2-Camlink
The
PC2 Camlink supports both linesscan and area scan cameras
with two data channels. The board includes LED status
indicators mounted on the bracket, giving the user a clear
indication that all camera signals are present and active.
Includes shaft encoder input for linescan applications.

Viper Camlink
The
Viper Camlink is targeted at demanding machine vision
applications involving multi-tap CameraLink cameras. Onboard
controller for 0% CPU overhead. Time stamping and variable
frame length support included on-board.
Supports
base, medium and full CameraLink implementations
High
speed acquisition rates up to 200 Mbytes/sec.
Coreco X64
The
X64 is an advanced PCI 64 framegrabber. It features Coreco's
'Trigger to Image Reliability' framework that alerts the
user to over triggering and a whole range of other data
integrity and quality issues. It provides support for
area scan, linescan, colour and monochrome cameras.
Supports
base, medium and full implementations of CameraLink
Acquisition
rates up to 528 Mbytes/sec via PCI64 bus.
CameraLink
and Fibre-Optic Extenders
There
are a number of CameraLink extenders and signal
repeaters based either on the Gigabit Ethernet specification,
or using fibre-optic transmission technology, bioth allowing
data transmission over long distances.
Transmission
lengths of over 1000M possible with GOF (Glass Optical
Fibre)
