The FireGuard 800 from Asysco International was developed specifically for high speed, industrial data acquisition using the FireWire IEEE-1394b standard and is able to capture images of most FireWire cameras, both monochrome and colour. The FireGuard 800 supports both FireWire a and FireWire a cameras, and is able to handle most multi camera situations. The FireGuard 800 is fully supported by the Common Vision Blox vision development environment.
Notes
Features
The FireGuard 800 is a cost effective way of entering te world of high speed image acquisition, using the FireWire IEEE-1394b standard.
IEEE-1394b is the latest iteration of the
FireWire standard with support for data transfer rates of up to 800Mbits/s.
This interface card has features specifically suited to machine vision, such as support for camera specific fetaures such as the AVT camera 'mode 7' and it can also act as a software licence' when used with the Common Vision Blox vision programming environment.
