CCS Low Angle System -Dimensional Diagrams and Examples
The exaples below both show how small scratches and low surface details are highlighted using low angle illumination, which is sometimes referred to as 'dark field' illumination. The first is an image of a component with embossed characters, and the second shows how cracks in CDs can be clearly revealed during the manufacturing process.
