The
PP900 is a single output constant current supply providing very
stable continuous or pulsed output for LED lighting used in
machine vision. It includes the very popular “Display-and-Buttons”
interface which allows the unit to be configured in seconds.
The PP900 uses a patent tecyhnology
called 'Safe Sense' that can be used in conjunction with CCS
illuminators which can detect connection, disconnection of
a CCS light and will then automatically sense the voltage
and current rating of the light. This works for all 12V, 24V
and HLV lights from CCS. It also has continuous fault monitoring,
that can detect open circuit and short circuit faults, overheating
lights and single LED filure.

Technology For CCS Lights
The PP900
provides automatic, fool-proof operation with CCS lights, providing
plug and play operation. Using this revolutionary technology,
the PP900 detects the connection and disconnection of any CCS
light. On connection, the PP900 will automatically sense the
voltage and current rating of the light. This works for all
12V, 24V and HLV lights.
The PP900 allows the user to set up between 0 and 100% continuous
output and also allows overdriving within safe limits.
