Stocker-Yale On-Chip LED Line Illumination Systems

Stocker Yale's CLL Series of LED linelights is a significant advancement in the performance and cost effectiveness of machine vision illumination systems.

The WHITE linelight combines 40 light-emitting diodes with a high quality fresnel lens to produce a bright line of light with excellent uniformity. These modules are the high quality, high power and compact building blocks used by OEMs, system integrators and end users within the machine vision industry. The CLL Series is available in a range of other colors from blue through infrared as well as mixed colors.

Each RED Linelight consists of 100 chip-on- board LEDs that, when combined with high quality fresnel lensing, produces a brilliant line of light with exceptional uniformity. These high-performance, high quality units are ideal for OEMs, system integrators, and end-users who need an energy efficient, long lasting illumination source for their most challenging machine vision applications.

Notes

StockerYale’s LED Linelights are available in various wavelengths from blue through infrared. Using the custom circuit options, red, green and blue chips can be simultaneously mounted on the same board and powered so as to produce their specific chip colors or any combination of these, including white light.

  1. Static: LEDs can be sensitive to electrostatic discharge. Observe precautions for handling devices.

  2. Cooling: For CW operation or high duty cycle operation of these linelights, adequate heatsinking or cooling should be provided so that the housing temperature does not exceed 104°F (40°C).

  3. Power supplies: The linelights should be powered by current-controlled power supplies, and should not exceed the specified limits.

  4. Pulsed operation: In pulsed operation, ensure that the maximum current pulse does not exceed 2A. Since pulsed conditions vary, consult with StockerYale to ensure that operating conditions do not prejudice the reliable operation of the modules.
