High Intensity Water Cooled Linelight system
V Cubed’s VLX Series of LED Line Lights have been designed to provide a viable alternative to
fibre optic based systems and offer several additional benefits.
Great emphasis has been placed upon intensity and thermal management to ensure efficient,
reliable and consistent operation and fast “warm up” time. The water-cooled units are available
in a wide range of output colours including white and lengths up to and in excess of 2 metres.
The light output from the units can be varied over a very wide range and is either preset or
controlled via a Serial link. The units can also be “overdriven” where highest intensity is required
- running the units in this mode will however reduce the expected working life of greater than
50,000 hours continuous operation. At the maximum 140% output the expected life should still
exceed 20,000 Hours as a result of the advanced thermal management.
The intelligent light output control can be used to maintain constant intensity for the life of the
unit and also continuously monitors its status and health. All this information is available to the
User via the serial communications interface.
