C mount lenses are ideal with most
standard resolution cameras. However smaller the CCD smaller
the pixels and for best performance high resolution lenses
( link) may be more suitable. For megapixel cameras we
recommend using high resolution lenses ( link). If the
minimum working distance is too long you can use an extension
ring set (link). Many of our lenses have mechanical drawings,
MTF graphs and distortion charts, please look at the datasheet
here or call for more information.
With pixel sizes reducing and 1"
sensors becoming ever more common, there is a growing
requirement for greater resolution lensing solutions.
